Newport Gun Club is a non-profit corporation (UBI #601-792-953). The club started in 1924 occupying several locations in the Newport area. It moved to its current location at 271 Gun Club Road, Newport, Washington in 1968 and has operated continuously to date. The previous location of Newport Gun Club was at the present site of the Pend Oreille Sheriff's Department and Hall of Justice (as shown in the pictures on this page).
Currently, the club shoots at least 100,000 targets per year. Historically, Newport Gun Club has been home to State Champions and a multitude of highly competitive registered shooters. Today, we are home to a friendly and loyal membership of sportsmen and sportswomen who enjoy Trap, Skeet, and the Outdoors!
